At The Yarny Way, we cherish every skein and stitch. Our goal is to ensure you’re delighted with your purchases, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. Here’s our return and exchange policy, designed with both our community and the integrity of our products in mind:

Yarn Returns

• Unwound, unused yarn in its original condition and packaging can be returned within 30 days of purchase for store credit.
• Wound yarn (whether by you or us) is non-returnable, as it cannot be resold in its original state.
• Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Needles, Hooks & Notions

• Unopened tools in their original packaging may be returned within 7 days of purchase.
• Opened or used tools are non-returnable, unless defective.

Books, Patterns & Magazines

Due to copyright and resale considerations, all books, patterns, and magazines are final sale.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of purchase. We’ll work with you to make it right.

Return Process

• Return Method: In-store or by mail
• Return Label: Customer is responsible for return shipping
• Restocking Fee: None (we keep it kind and simple)
• Refund Processing Time: Up to 14 days

To initiate a return, please bring your item(s) and receipt to the store. For online purchases, contact us at shop@theyarnyway.com to start the process. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error with your order.
