Fiber Arts Instructor

Do you love helping others discover the magic of yarn? The Yarny Way is seeking passionate, reliable instructors to teach fiber arts classes in our welcoming Lubbock studio. We offer beginner through intermediate group classes and workshops, and we’re always open to fresh ideas.

As a contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to propose classes based on your strengths and availability. We’ll handle registration, student check-ins, and materials if needed—so you can focus on teaching.

What You Might Teach:

  • Beginner Knitting or Crochet
  • Advanced Techniques (Lace, Colorwork, Socks, Tunisian Crochet)
  • Weaving (Rigid Heddle, Pin Loom, etc.)
  • Specialty workshops (fiber prep, spinning, felting, etc.)

Ideal Candidates:

  • Confident teaching small groups (3–8 students)
  • Dependable, welcoming, and clear communicators
  • Experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person
  • Must be comfortable working with people of all ages and identities
