A huge thank you to everyone who came out for Malabrigo Day! The shop was bursting with color, laughter, and fiber feels as we explored the full spectrum of Malabrigo yarns, played our Kahoots course, and spun for prizes.
Grand Prize Winner: Congratulations to Janice, who took home our Friendship Shawl Kit featuring three skeins of Dos Tierras and a pair of LYKKE Blush needles!

Another big thank you to everyone who participated in our baby blanket drive. The handmade blankets were picked up by Dr. Flowers and delivered to UMC’s NICU, where they’ll bring warmth and comfort to tiny new lives. (Photo below!)

Beginning Knitting with Jared in November
Our November Beginner Knitting Series is in progress — thank you to everyone who registered! If you missed this round, don’t worry — we’ll run it again after the holidays. In the meantime, private instruction is available for all levels with Marni or Claire. Whether you’re brand-new or brushing up on skills, one-on-one sessions are a great way to get personalized guidance.
The Basics of Crochet with Joy | Tuesday, Nov 12 | 1–4 PM
Get hooked (or re-hooked) on crochet in this fun, hands-on intro class! Learn the basic stitches, tools, and techniques you’ll need to start your crochet journey — or refresh your skills if it’s been a while. All materials are included, and you’ll leave ready to explore patterns on your own. Students also enjoy 10% off in-store purchases on class day!
You’ll learn how to hold your hook and yarn, start a foundation chain, and work the most common stitches found in beginner patterns. We’ll also cover reading instructions, fixing mistakes, and building confidence to continue practicing at home.
