This yarn is officially approved for Knitted Knockers, a volunteer program that provides free, handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or lumpectomies. Each October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we collect finished Knockers made with Ultra Pima and ship them to those in need.
