Ready to add color to your knitting? Join us for Fibernaut Expedition #2 as we knit the beautiful Tremblant Toque together while learning the fundamentals of stranded colorwork.

Over four guided meetups, you’ll learn how to read colorwork charts, manage two yarns with confidence, maintain even tension, catch floats neatly, and choose colors that create beautiful contrast. We’ll be knitting with Cascade 220 Fingering, making this the perfect introduction to stranded knitting.

Attend as many sessions as you’d like during the two-week Expedition. Each meetup includes demonstrations, troubleshooting, and plenty of time to knit alongside fellow Fibernauts.

Whether this is your first colorwork project or you’re looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with a beautiful hat and the confidence to tackle future colorwork adventures.

Who is this KAL For?

This knit-along is perfect for knitters who:

• Are comfortable knitting in the round.
• Have completed at least one hat or other circular project.
• Want to learn stranded colorwork.
• Would like to improve colorwork tension and consistency.
• Enjoy knitting with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.

No previous stranded colorwork experience is required.

Participants will need:

• Tremblant Toque pattern (free on Ravelry)
• Three colors of Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering or other Fingering Weight Yarn
• Size US 3 16″ circular needles
• Size US 3 DPNs or Magic Loop US 3 40″ Circular Needle for crown decreases
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Project yarn and supplies are purchased separately.

Each meetup will include:

• Brief technique demonstrations
• Individual coaching
• Colorwork troubleshooting
• Tips for the next stage of the project
• Plenty of knitting time with fellow Fibernauts
