Although I am only starting my yarn journey I was convinced (rightfully) to give The Stellar Winder a try. And what a great choice, even with all my amateur mistakes this winder made me a professional. The several skeins I wound were all perfectly taught, wound beautiful, also unwound just as well and I was able to easily locate both ends. I am eager to get my hands on some yarn that needs wound just to show off this little gem. The Stellar was exceptionally easy to use and quite smooth winding, makes quick work of winding. It is made with metal components and because of that and there’s a good chance this may last my whole life. Im all about that!!
Although Marni had mentioned something about it being a little louder than other plastic alternatives it honestly didn’t faze me a bit and I didn’t notice it being a disturbance at all. I seriously would recommend the Stellar to anyone even slightly interested in getting in to yarn creations I believe it will be well loved by me and many others, additionally, it is not something that will need replacing anytime soon and I value that VERY highly.
