I look for patterns that offer something new to learn, but that doesn’t challenge me too much. In other words, something I can do while watching TV and sipping a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The real healing in working with yarn for me comes with the repetition, the slow and steady growth of a piece that I will wear, use, or gift to someone.
