Your Mission
As our Shop Assistant / Salesperson, you’ll be the warm, welcoming presence at the front of our studio. You’ll guide customers through their yarny journey, support studio operations, and keep things running smoothly at checkout.
Key Responsibilities
– Greet customers and help them feel welcome and supported
– Answer product questions or refer to team members
– Operate our Zettle POS system (iPad-based)
– Handle cash and card transactions with care
– Restock displays and keep the studio clean and cozy
– Assist during classes or special events as needed
– Follow procedures for returns, gift cards, and customer holds
Schedule
– Wed–Fri: 2:00–6:00 PM (15-min paid break)
– Saturday: 11:00 AM–5:30 PM (30-min unpaid + two 15-min paid breaks)
– Off: Sunday–Tuesday
– Hours may flex slightly with events or seasonal needs
Compensation
– $12–$15/hour based on experience
– Paid training provided
– Staff discount: 20% off or sale price, whichever is better
