Malabrigo Mechita is the fingering-weight version of Malabrigo’s beloved single-ply superwash merino yarn. It has the same rich color, soft feel, and beautiful drape as Mecha, but in a lighter weight that works well for shawls, garments, socks, and detailed stitch patterns.

Each skein is kettle-dyed by hand, creating the depth of color Malabrigo is known for. Because of the hand-dyed process, skeins can vary slightly even within the same dye lot. For best results, alternate skeins every few rows when working larger projects.

Mechita is soft enough for next-to-skin wear and strong enough for everyday pieces, making it a favorite for knitters and crocheters who love expressive color and natural fiber.
