Aveline Poncho Knitting Pattern by Petra Breakstone

This knitting pattern is soooo simple and so gorgeous! The drape is lovely due to the simple lace pattern, large needles used and of course, the vegan yarn called Darlon available from Yarnz2Go.com.

I used 2 skeins (held double-stranded throughout) and had enough left over to add a simple half-double-crochet border (made with one strand and a smaller crochet hook) to the top of the poncho, adding a bit more structure and finish, since the piece was a bit wide for my shoulders.

Aveline, a feminine, super stylish and so much fun to knit poncho that works up super fast. Makes a great cover-up for the summer! Not too hot for outside protects your shoulders in air-conditioned rooms. Wear it as a poncho or a cowl.

With a bit of easy lace, it is an enjoyable repetitive pattern that is easily memorized. Worked flat then seamed. ~ Petra Breakstone

If you are looking for a simple project this summer that adds a new piece to your wardrobe this is definitely a winner. Check out the kit and pattern notes on the Yarnz2Go.com website here: https://yarnz2go.myshopify.com/collections/designer-kits/products/aveline
