This cozy knitted neckwarmer is made with bulky weight acrylic yarn, which is more comfortable and less itchy around the neck. It takes less than a skein of yarn and can be made quickly as a last-minute gift or a new addition to your cold-weather wardrobe.
Similar to the Paddington Neckwarmer I did 6 years ago, this version includes a third button, less bulky yarn, and smaller needles. A great stashbuster!
Give it a try and send me your comments! I would love to see your creations. 🙂

hi i love the finished look of this and just started it tonight but am super confused. if you start with 29 stiches and follow K2 -p2, to the last three stitches, you end with the last two prior to the last 3, as being knit… and then you knit 2 more and purl the last stitch? the ending only works if you start with p 2- k2. so yup. super confused. any clarification would be great thanks.

Oh gosh, you are right, I am so sorry. The last 3 stitches would be K2 and P1. That’s what I get for not having a pattern tester. 🙂

I don’t understand the button hole row. Is it a purl yarn over each time?
marni
It doesn’t really matter if you yarn over purlwise or knitwise, as long as you add it. Whatever works for you! 🙂
