I love knitting patterns that are easy and fun to do and that’s just what the Caron Cakes Basic Knit Scarf pattern is. This free pattern (which was actually on the back of the yarn label) is definitely one a beginner could make but even for those of us with more knitting experience, the simple garter stitch knit one row at a time is beautiful especially when the yarn changes color along the way. One skein. Done. Give it a try! Basic is beautiful.
